With the approach of the Wet n Dry race I thought I would like to build an amphibian model based on the real thing. I thought about the Duwk but it worked out too expensive so I settled on the Seep which was a WWII amphibious jeep produced by Ford.
As you can see from the photos I am in the process of building the chassis and prop tunnels.
It is a 4 wheel drive vehicle, I have used a couple of driven axles one with steering and a Maverick drive unit and shafts. The suspension is Tamyia leaf springs, but I may add some small shocks as well.
This is the build so far I will post some more pictures as it progresses.
..the build continues, more photos have been added

Wheels have arrived - I'm very pleased with them, perfect scale.
All the hull work is finished and the inside has been resin coated (and none leaked out)
Next step is to start filling and sanding the outside of the hull and get a few coats of primer on her, then to start on the superstructure and detailing (although I have made a jerry can!).

It handles very well on the ramp and has a good turn of speed, drove a few inches into the lake and got the wheels wet for the first time, but not yet ready to go right into the water!
